Why do you hold a Walk-a-thon?
The proceeds of this event will benefit the school’s Capital Improvement and Modernization Program. Physical Education, Art Education and Science facilities have already been constructed as a result of the program. And new, state-of-the art Music facilities and student athletic locker rooms are currently under construction.
Who do students walk with?
Students walk with their COR teacher (along with all other students and teachers).
Are all students required to participate?
Yes, every member of the SFP community is required to participate.
How do you define participation?
Two ways: (1) walking with the entire school on May 14th and (2) obtaining sponsorships from family members, friends, neighbors, or local businesses prior to the walk. It will be a fun time and it will really benefit St. Francis Prep!
Are all students required to raise a certain amount of money?
Yes, each student is responsible for the $100 walk-a-thon fee (already paid) which will be included in his/her fundraising totals.
What happens after the Walk-a-thon is finished?
Each student will be required to return to the classroom with his/her COR where there will be food and drink items available. Attendance will be taken once again, prize winners will be announced. Senior BBQ to follow.

Simply click on the FIND REGISTERED WALKERS tab on the top menu bar. This makes it easier for students to ask family and friends for support while tracking progress to the goal.
How quickly are donations credited to my Walk-a-thon fundraising page?
Online donations are credited immediately. Mailed-in donations may take a little longer to be credited.
